BIG NEWS! KEY SIGNING FROM ARGENTINA! 🇦🇷

ASD Terminio, the member-owned football club from Volturara Irpina, is proud to announce the signing of Braian Muñoz, a 27-year-old Argentinian-Italian midfielder, as the club’s marquee acquisition for the 2025/26 season.

Muñoz joins Terminio from Real Cassino (Eccellenza), stepping down three divisions to compete in Italy’s Seconda Categoria. His decision underscores the unique appeal of ASD Terminio’s project: a community-first club powered by local passion and Football Club Group’s (FCG) global network of members.

A Signing That Signals Ambition

Muñoz, a dynamic right-footed midfielder standing 1.70m and weighing 67kg, brings with him professional experience across Argentina’s Serie A, B, and C, as well as Italy’s Promozione and Eccellenza. His career path includes time at historic clubs such as Huracán and Ferrocaril Oeste, as well as stints at Comunicaciones, El Porvenir, and La Unión before arriving in Italy.

Speaking about his arrival in Volturara, Muñoz shared his excitement and ambition:

“I think that this year will be very good as a team, as a group, and for the people of Volturara. I think this town deserves great things, great satisfactions. And we all look forward, together with my teammates.”

Inspired by a Global Community

What convinced a player from three divisions above to join ASD Terminio? Muñoz pointed to the passion of Volturara and the cooperative ownership model that connects local fans with members worldwide.

“This project that the boys are birthing, where people come from all over the world like Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, and well, let’s hope soon I see some owners from Argentina (laughs)… it seems to me phenomenal, because it’s a nice big project with good people.”

His words echo the club’s vision: to be both a pillar of the community in Volturara and a symbol of member-owned football for the world.

Eyes on the Championship

As for his goals, Muñoz was clear about his target:

“The objective this year is to win the championship.”

With his arrival, ASD Terminio strengthens its squad alongside an already strong squad, including homegrown forward Michele Petretta and veteran captain Luigi Di Feo. Together, they form the spine of the dragon, determined to achieve promotion in 2025/26.
